Will it hurt?
During the procedure, you will feel pressure, but not pain. This actual procedure itself takes only a couple of minutes.
Is the procedure safe?
Since LASIK has been around, over 20 million procedures have taken place. 99% of patients achieve better than 20/40 vision and more than 90% achieve 20/20 or better with a 96% satisfaction rate -- the highest of any elective procedure.

When can I get back to work?
Most patients return to work as early as the day after the LASIK procedure.

How long does it take?
You will arrive one hour prior to your procedure and should be able to leave within 2 hours. You will have a follow up appointment the next day, and then again in one month, 3 months, 6 months and a year.

What if I have questions?
We are always available to answer your questions and make you feel confident about your decision. We know this is your vision and no question is unreasonable!
Can I afford this?
We offer a number of finance options and affordable payment plans. It is easy to apply online and receive credit approval before you schedule an appointment.

Am I suitable?
LASIK if for those who want to reduce or eliminate their dependence on glasses or contacts. You must be 18 years old and have had a stable eye prescription for at least a year. We will discuss any special circumstances at your free LASIK evaluation.

Can I drive after the surgery?
We ask that you have someone to drive you home after the surgery, but you will be able to drive the next day.
When can I wear makeup?
Patients can wear eye makeup one week after surgery.​

How experienced is Dr. Leach?
Dr. Leach has been a vision correction surgeon since 1988. He earned his Medical Degree from University of Michigan with honors, had a three-year ophthalmology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, and then did a two-year cornea and eye laser surgery fellowship at Louisiana State University - the birthplace of laser vision correction surgery in the USA. He has performed well over 20,000 procedures in his career.
